Perched on the upper level of our original 1953 home, the Dogwood Suite captures the authentic character of a classic mountain lodge. Positioned across the landing from the Sugar Pine, this room benefits from being elevated away from the primary foot traffic of the main floor. It offers a bright, welcoming atmosphere that embraces the historic, nostalgic bones of the inn while providing a peaceful vantage point for your Shaver Lake getaway.

The Experience

The highlights of this suite are its cozy atmosphere and modern touches. While it features the most compact bathroom footprint in the historic wing, it is also one of our most beautifully updated spaces, featuring fresh, contemporary mountain finishes. In the evening, you can switch on the ambient gas fireplace to fill the room with a warm, traditional cabin glow as you relax in the premium queen-sized bed.
